We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Child Care Support Worker to join our team in providing dedicated care for a 7-year-old child with complex health needs in central Nottingham . This role is crucial in ensuring the child's well-being and development during after-school hours.
Position Details:
Hours: Monday to Friday, 15:45 to 18:45
Location: NG3 area
Responsibilities:
Personal Care: Provide assistance with daily hygiene and care routines tailored to the child's specific health needs.
Feeding: Support the child during mealtimes, including preparation and assistance as required.
Health Management: Monitor and manage the child's complex health conditions, following prescribed care plans.
Sensory Play: Engage the child in therapeutic sensory activities to promote development and well-being.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children with complex health needs.
- Trained in Tracheostomy care
- Knowledge of personal care and health management practices.
- Patience, empathy, and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in health or social care are desirable.
