Required - Support Worker with Drivers license.
**Pay Rates**:
Weekday £11.50
Weekday nights £12.00
Weekend days £11.50
Weekend nights £12.00
**Shift Patterns**:
7:00am - 19:00pm & 19:00pm - 7:00am Monday - Sunday with opportunity to pick up extra shifts for annual leave/sickness.
We're thrilled to offer a rewarding opportunity for a compassionate individual to provide complex care to a male we support in Bottesford who has a spinal cord injury.
You will effectively become part of their everyday life, with the role encompassing everything from companionship to personal care to managing complex care needs and medication requirements.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Catheter and bowel management
- attending appointments, social activities and going on holiday
- Offering day-to-day assistance as needed
- Ensure the individual's safety and well-being at all times
- Communicate effectively with the individual and other team members
- Maintain confidentiality and respect privacy
- Adhere to care plans and guidelines provided
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting, operating on shifts to ensure round-the-clock care coverage.
**Skills Knowledge and Expertise**:
- Ability to effectively communicate with individuals requiring care
- Experience in a similar role
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
- Empathy, patience, and compassion when interacting with individuals in need of support
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet varying care needs
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Willingness to undergo additional training and development as required
- UK** **Driver's license and access to own vehicle (not essential)
