With a variety of exciting UK and International projects, we are now seeking a talented BIM Coordinator with experience in Design Technology to join our team in the London Studio. 

In this role, you will be expected to demonstrate prolific expertise with industry-trusted BIM & Design Technology platforms and project delivery methods in support of design iteration, validation, and downstream agile BIM to fabrication delivery methods. You will manage project technology development, compliance, and strategy on projects. The role will involve working with the Head of Technology on region-wide technology implementation. You will be expected to setup regular touch points with Design Teams and provide pro-active support and mentorship to design teams on projects. You will be expected to curate and run software training sessions for teams on projects. Working with the design team leadership, this role is intended to support Revit, Rhino & Grasshopper capabilities on live projects whilst also assisting Benoy’s Technology strategy.
 

What we’re looking for:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Building Science, Architecture, Design Technology and Computation. 3-5 years of relevant BIM experience on complex, large-scale projects through design phases. Solid understanding of the BIM process with proven experience of BIM project coordination. Strong communicator and highly approachable with commitment to providing support to design teams. Advanced knowledge in Revit & Rhino, experience resolving technical issues. Advanced knowledge of Dynamo, Grasshopper, and other technology software packages preferred. Advanced understanding of BIM 360 & ACC. Experience authoring and implementing Revit Standards & Content Management. Ability to prioritise across multiple projects simultaneously.  Advanced proficiency in software interoperability. Advanced proficiency in setting up Revit projects for Architecture, Interior Design, Landscape Architecture and Urban Planning. Advanced proficiency in defining and updating Revit templates for different design stages. Advanced proficiency in sheet setup, drawing extraction and model purging for external collaboration. Advanced proficiency in configuring and managing projects’ BIM data sets.

Key Responsibilities

BIM Coordination : Organizing & attending project BIM Workshops and meetings. Managing BIM Models and BIM compliance on projects. 
  BIM Compliance: Managing BIM Compliance with project BEP / MIDP / TIDP.
  Design Technology Implementation: Supporting teams with Design Technology Assets like Grasshopper and Dynamo Scripts, Interoperability workflows.
  Project / Stage Commencement Set-up: Workshops on setting up projects, site files, area scheduling etc. for early Feasibility or Concept. At SD stage, sit with project team to advise on Revit file set-up and structuring.
  Pro-active Support: Regular catchups, a point of contact for technology issues & best practice modelling queries.
  Project Issues Training: Upskilling and training through real project examples.
  Families & Content: Assistance for bespoke families and guidance to help model in Rhino & Revit with ease.
  Library Management: Library management to clean, audit and create Benoy approved families. Responds to requests from project teams for additional families required.
  Efficiency : Looking for add-ons to provide greater efficiency for projects (. detail notes linked to NBS specifications for automated updates, plug-ins or coding for automated drawing issues from Revit).
