Do you have a strong background in teaching Sociology and Psychology at the secondary level? We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic teacher to join our team and deliver engaging and impactful lessons to our students.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Sociology and Psychology, catering to the diverse needs and abilities of students.
  • Utilize a range of teaching strategies and resources to promote active learning and facilitate students' understanding and critical thinking.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel supported and motivated to excel in their studies.
  • Assess and provide feedback on student progress, maintaining accurate records of their achievements.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective schemes of work and assessment strategies.

The successful candidate will be passionate about their subjects, dedicated to students' success, and committed to fostering a love for learning in the classroom. They will have the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and theories to students, creating a stimulating and enriching learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Specialization in Sociology and/or Psychology, with a strong academic background in these subjects.
  • Experience teaching Sociology and/or Psychology at the secondary level.
  • Excellent subject knowledge and a commitment to staying updated with the latest developments in the field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
