Performance Officer - Direct Payments Audit Team Senior

You will work as a senior officer in a team responsible for monitoring and advising on social care Direct Payments, a mechanism used to provide individuals with the funding necessary to purchase their own care and support services.
The Direct Payment Audit team is evolving and growing. It is a busy and exciting time for the team as they develop their service and refocus their support offer.
As Performance Officer - Direct Payment Audits, you will deputise for the team manager and assist with the planning of the team’s work and priorities. You will contribute to the redesign of the Direct Payments service, writing processes and training staff in new ways of working.
The successful candidate will have excellent analytical skills with the ability to extract and manipulate data from multiple reports. You will have excellent problem-solving skills and be skilled in addressing complex issues, with a strategic approach to finding solutions.
You will have drive and ambition to improve customer’s experience, excellent verbal and written communication skills, essential for training and report writing. You should be able to motivate others and work with others to achieve positive outcomes.
This post holder will also undertake monitoring and auditing of Direct Payment accounts, prepare invoices and support and guide colleagues, customers and partners with Direct Payment queries.
