You will assist the Meetings &Events department to achieve maximum revenue and clientrelationships through effective and efficient sales techniques andstrategiesproviding excellent customer service at all times to allcustomers
In this role you will assist inplanning and executing meetings events and conferences for up to446 guests from start tofinish
You will work closely with our clientsagents and team members to ensure seamless coordination anddelivery of all aspects of the event
This rolerequires proven record of accomplishment in eventmanagement
Responsibilities:
- Respondto enquiries from agents/clients within time limit and in aprofessional manner
- Practice efficient andeffective yield management in line withguidelines
- Promote special offers whereappropriate and maximize each and every salesopportunity
- Prepare contracts and ensuremaximum conversion of all business taken in thediary
- Ensure all business is chased anddepartmental guidelines are followed
- To conductshowrounds for existing bookings and for newclients
- Ensure client receives a detailed eventorder in advance of their event
- Greet client onarrival to the hotel at the start of their function and maintain apresence throughout the event
- Resolve anyclient disputes and complaints in a professional manner and withinguidelines issued
- Ensure accounting proceduresare adhered to at all times obtain prepayments reconcile and checkfinal invoices and send to the client within 48hours ofdeparture. Any account queries are to be dealt withwithin 48 hours
- Maintain strong marketawareness through competitor siteinspections
- Achieving individual weeklytargets
Salary: 34983 per annum(17.25 perhour)
Qualifications :
