We have a plan to enhance, simplify and drive innovation through the Motor Finance industry and are putting together a first-class team to bring our ambitious proposition and strategy to market. Our Onboarding and Oversight team will enable we are onboarding top class dealers into the Admiral dealer network.
The Role
As a Dealer Oversight Agent, you will be an integral part of the Motor Finance operation, which is a new department specifically created to perform regulatory checks, oversee dealer performance, compliance and operational conduct ensuring that we build and maintain relationships with dealers who embody our admiral values, delivering positive customer outcomes.
This role will require you to build strong internal relationships with other key teams within the function, working together to proactively communicate with dealers where we have identified areas of improvement, mitigating risk of poor customer outcomes.
We are looking for someone who has a keen eye for detail and can communicate effectively where concerns and/trends are identified during oversight activity. Candidates will be responsible for managing their workload efficiently whilst maintaining elevated levels of quality in marking of due diligence questionnaires and oversight assessments.
As an Oversight Agent you feed into the onboarding and oversight lead, supporting the development of the oversight framework and ensure its adherence to FLA dealer oversight guidelines. You will be encouraged to identify and investigate potential risks, completing root cause analysis on key performance indicators to establish if intervention is required.
Key Responsibilities
Due diligence and oversight of dealer network
Marking dealer due diligence questionnaire and collating evidence from multiple sources to verify we are onboarding exceptional calibre of dealers into the Admiral network. Creating and maintaining dealer records within our dealer management systems Undertake regular oversight to proactively provide due diligence to the dealer network. Assess relevant reporting and deep diving into areas of concern. Provide feedback to management and departments identifying any development or training needs based on findings during oversight checks. To maintain a strong understanding of applicable regulation and legislation in relation to the role and the industry, as the regulatory landscape evolves.Sharing Best Practice
As this role is based in a new and growing team, you will be responsible for ensuring that best practise and expertise is shared across the operational teams, and to wider business areas where appropriate.Candidate Requirements
Previous experience in the motor finance industry, with a strong appetite for providing great customer outcomes. Sound analytical skillset. Identifying trends with a curious and inquisitive approach Knowledge of FCA guidelines of dealer oversight preferable but not essential You have effective communication skills combined with the ability to communicate clearly to all staff members. You have strong literacy and numerical skills. You are willing to be developed, coached, and to take on board feedback. You embrace working in a demanding environment and are highly motivated. You are used to working to deadlines and meeting high quality standards. You are pro-active, organised, and able to manage your time effectively and take initiative. You have a positive work ethic and have a can-do attitude when supporting business in change. You are willing to share your ideas and contribute to the business. Experience/good knowledge of the following would be advantageous: Analysing credit reference agency reports FLA oversight guidelinesPlease note: this is a hybrid role based in our Cardiff office - days a week.
