WHAT TO EXPECT

As part of an established, motivated and fast-moving team, you will work for an experienced team leader to help deliver world class powertrain systems and components across several JLR applications. Delivery scale is from Concept to Production Launch.

You will lead in ensuring key systems and processes are in place, followed and reported against as well as ensuring compatibility across components and systems. They will facilitate implementation and advancement of Engineering Standards and process adherence within the EP-3 community.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Ensure vehicle manufacturing interface compatibility including special characteristics reviews and cascade (SCSS) from the whole engine and sub-system FMEAs Ensure key Program Metrics and Deliverables are updated, accurate and correct (AIMS, RMDV, DPA trackers, Program Central etc.) with escalation where appropriate Maintain regular interaction with the Powertrain teams to ensure understanding of key technology, programme timing and communication of engineering issues Ensure attribute delivery including function, quality, cost, weight and timing and that other function targets ( NVH, P&E, Legal) are supported

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Degree-qualified in relevant engineering discipline Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey key information in a concise manner Good inter-personal skill and ability to work as a part of a diverse team and influence others Detailed knowledge of design and development of engine systems or similar complex systems System-level understanding of Powertrain Systems including electrification and control
