Proposals Engineer Responsibilities

  • Analyse customer specifications and requirements to develop tailored proposals and technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with sales, engineering, and production teams to gather information and ensure proposal accuracy.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, project timelines, and technical documentation.
  • Present proposals to clients, addressing technical queries and ensuring clear understanding.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and stay informed about industry trends through market research.

Proposals Engineer Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience in Proposals or Technical Sales, preferably in industrial equipment.
  • Strong technical knowledge, with ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CAD software.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and time management skills.
