Global Payment Solutions (GPS) is made up of almost 10,000 people, across more than 60 countries. The business is uniquely positioned to help clients make payments across borders, across currencies and regulations, quickly and cost effectively with dedicated in country and regional support. Our expertise in this area is repeatedly recognised by the industry’s most prominent publications and associations with numerous global, regional and country awards.

We are seeking a proactive and customer focused person to join this team in the role Global Wallet Business Development Manager.

This is an exciting opportunity to bring our Global Wallet and digital capabilities to new and existing customers achieving revenue for the Group by originating leads, building and maintaining strategic relationships and delivering new customer activations.

Your key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

• Identifying and delivering new sales for our new digital capabilities – primarily Global Wallet but not limited to just one product as we will continually be developing new products
• Being available to showcase Global Wallet and its capabilities to new and existing clients via our banking platforms 
• Working in conjunction with onboarding to optimise sales 
• Helping to educate and train the commercial regions with our new digital capabilities
• Customer planning and monitoring/contact as part of the Commercial Banking (CMB) client planning process
• Maintaining close liaison with key stakeholders to provide input to the strategic direction of the business, the functionality and launch of new products and services
• Working with key stakeholders including, but not limited to CMB, Product Development, Client Management to ensure a positive client experience
• Keeping the Management informed of progress / major obstacles towards progress on Sales performance
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Continually reassessing the Sales process through to implementation and work closely with other stakeholders to identify efficiencies

Requirements

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Relevant product knowledge including knowledge of GPS
• Experience of high-volume calling activity through warm leads delivering new business sales 
• A track record of successfully identifying and developing significant/complex business propositions, which attract and entrench customers, in a fair and ethical way
• A passion for building trusted relationships and delivering outstanding customer service
• Business acumen and commercial awareness, including economic, cultural, procedural and regulatory issues
• The ability to work at pace, multi-task and deliver results under time pressure
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills with experience of successfully influencing others, negotiating effectively and winning over audiences with compelling and persuasive presentations
• Built effective networks both internally and externally and created opportunities for others to work collaboratively
• A comprehensive understanding of risk management and proven experience of ensuring own/others' compliance with relevant regulatory processes
