The Role: We are looking for a dedicated Team Leader to oversee and support our care team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of care are met while fostering a positive and supportive environment for both individuals and staff.
About The Manse: Located in the small friendly village of Freystop, on the outskirts of Haverfordwest in Pembrokeshire, The Manse is a spacious home for up to 4 adults from age 18. Care at The Manse is individually tailored with adults placed at the centre of their own developmental pathway. We support adults to play an active and valued role in their community supported by meaningful and engaging activities, leisure and learning programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of support workers, ensuring excellent care delivery.
  • Develop and implement personalised care plans in collaboration with the care team.
  • Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to support workers.
  • Monitor and maintain care standards in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Drive and escort residents to appointments and activities as needed.
Requirements:
  • NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care (mandatory).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in health and social care.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong understanding of autism and person-centred care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to drive as part of the role.
