Your pay - our Support Workers receive a rate of £ per hour for all worked hours. Once you are successful for a role with us, full details of your pay will be included in your written offer.

This vacancy is based in Winsford.

Who do you support?
we support 1 lady with a server learning disability who has her own car, the lady goes to day center at Meadow Bank Lodge 5 days a week, from till

Day services pick the lady up from her home and they use the ladies car while at the day service.

Working hours are till staff return to the ladies home at till and sleep in, for 5 days and weekends are from till

Where do they live?
The property is a 2 bedroom detached bungalow with a private back garden and a drive at the front of the house to park.

The bungalow is a 20 minutes away from Winsford town center.

There is local amenities, and supper markets in the town, and a costa coffee, lifestyle center and a large marina for walks.

What would a typical shift be like?
At the start of the day the lady completes her morning routine, this involves personal care, showering, washing and drying hair, dressing, preparing breakfast and packed lunch.

The lady then goes to day center in her own car staff from the day center pick the lady up from her home, staff will clean the bungalow before leaving their shift.

The lady will return from day center at and the staff will prepare the ladies tea giving her the choice of what she would like, the staff will make the lady a cup of tea and the lady will choose what in house activity she would like to do with staff, the lady will chill out after her tea and do some colouring if she chooses to, the lady is fully supported to change into her night clothes and fully supported with her medication before retiring to bed

What activities do the people that we support at this property like to do?
The lady likes to go for walks, go and do her shopping, go out on day trips, likes to watch football on TV, likes to have her own space at times, likes to colour and look through picture albums.

Are there any skills or interests that a candidate could have that would be great to use to support this service?
We have a mobility car at the property but a driver is not essential We like to go shopping. We like to go out for a walk We like to chill out at home and watch a movie or football if it is on.

What is the team here or is it lone-working?
You will be lone working at the service when you have completed your training You will be working alone when doing the sleep in shift but will have a team leader on call

What are your shift patterns?
till 10am 15,00hrs till sleep till
