To look after the nation’s heath, we must provide the highest standards of care. So, we need to work with the best talent around. That’s why we’re looking for someone who understands how important it is to maintain great relationships while providing the high levels of service in a modern pathology laboratory.

As a Biomedical Scientist at our Guildford hospital, you’ll bring the relevant qualifications and laboratory experience in Bacteriology and may be multidisciplinary biomedical science. You should have a good working knowledge of different analytical equipment in a range of techniques. You should also be a natural communicator and team player, and you should share our idea of quality.

As a Biomedical Scientist, you will:

Deliver high-quality pathology services.

Complete your share of covering the out-of-hours on-call service when needed.

Perform biomedical diagnostic testing, interpretation, reporting and quality control.

Keep records of specimens, results, reagents and consumables.

Support the validation and assessment of new equipment and new diagnostic procedures.

Help ensure we deliver the very best experience for patients.

Any other assigned tasks.

Helping you feel good.

We want you to love coming to work, feeling healthy, happy and valued. That’s why we’ve developed a benefits package with you in mind. From free private healthcare to gym membership, a cycle to work scheme and more. At Nuffield Health, we take care of what’s important to you.
