The Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Primary Teacher to join our vibrant school community. As a Primary Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality education tailored to the individual needs of our students. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the needs of students with SEMH needs.
- Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the SENCO and support staff.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and promotes positive behaviour.
- Use a variety of assessment methods to monitor and evaluate student progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and staff.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to student support and development.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in SEMH education.
- Contribute to the wider school community through participation in extracurricular activities and school events.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience working in a primary school setting, preferably with students who have SEMH needs.
- Strong understanding of SEMH and the strategies used to support students with these needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
