Marshalls Bricks and Masonry brings over 100 years expertise in the walling sector. We design, manufacture, and deliver bricks, walling and masonry with a specialism in low carbon concrete bricks. We are part of the Marshalls PLC, the UK’s leading manufacturer of hard landscaping, building and roofing products

We have an unrivalled offering of products, a respected brand, and a successful sales team It’s within this passionate team at Marshalls, that we’re recruiting for a National Specification Manager. Internally at Marshalls, this role is known as Commercial Manager.

So, what’s your mission?
You will drive the specification of Marshalls Bricks & Masonry products in the south of England. You’ll work with architects, local authorities, house builders, consultant engineers and main contractor in-house design teams to promote Marshalls materials for each project.

It's all about communication, loving what you do, and representing our products. You’ll need to be an excellent communicator and be easy to build relationships with, leading creative conversations around aspirational products, designs and specification sales whilst promoting our new product ranges and identifying market trends or product gaps. Once you’ve established regional projects, you’ll take the lead and drive their success by collaborating across internal departments, building those crucial relationships.

The position is field-based. You will need to live on the patch and be able to commute within the South of England & Wales.

  • You’ll have a proven track record in specification sales
  • A good understanding of the construction industry
  • Self-motivated, dynamic and driven with the skills to work independently, under your own initiative
  • Sales and performance target oriented
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build long-term relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Flexible approach to travel and your working environment
    Full UK Driving Licence
