We are recruiting for a Head of Supply Chain and Strategic Projects to join us here at Octavius.

We are a leading civil engineering organisation delivering safe, sustainable, and efficient transport solutions across the UK.

 

You'll be working on…. (what your role and responsibility is)
  • Develop and implement a supply chain strategy to ensure that Octavius engages, contracts, and interacts with suppliers in ways that support the overall business strategy.
  • Lead the development of strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management practices across the Octavius business.
  • Provide impetus and example to build a culture that promotes feedback and open relationships with clients and suppliers, positively impacting costs and delivery.

A team of highly motivated, dedicated professionals delivering projects across a variety of frameworks with clients such as Network Rail, National Highways and multiple Local Authorities.

  • Experience in developing and deploying supply chain strategies.
  • Understanding of the civil engineering industry and large clients.
  • Track record of improving strategic supplier contributions.
  • Leadership experience with diverse professional teams.
  • Expertise in implementing Supply Chain Management systems.
  • Proven ability in developing and expanding client relationships.
  • Skilled in negotiating agreements.
  • Experience in planning and implementing business process changes.
  • Degree or equivalent level academic qualification MCIPS or MCIOB
