**Location - Nationwide with key locations in Newcastle, Reigate & Edinburgh.**

- Our roles are hybrid, however you should be able to work in our offices 3 days per week.**

Whether we’re helping our customers or looking after our people, you’ll find there’s a warmth and friendliness to everything we do.- We’re recruiting for a strategic and transformational **Head of Outsourcing and Supply Chain Management** to join our Insurance and Money Services senior leadership team.- In this pivotal leadership role, you’ll report directly to our Claims Director and have the opportunity to lead the development and implementation of our supplier management and outsource strategy. Anticipating exciting and complex issues, challenges and opportunities as we create an end-to-end Insurance and Money Services team moving forward.**What you’ll be doing
- Responsible for managing and leading the Outsourcing and Supply Chain function for Insurance, ensuring that supplier services are of a consistently high quality in terms of effectiveness, efficiency, and best value.
- Responsible for management of the TU procurement team, working closely with colleagues across insurance to ensure best outcomes for the business and customers across all procurement activities.
- Building strategies and relationships across Commercial, Technology, Marketing, Supplier Relationship Management and Supplier Risk Management and ensure that we’re working with suppliers that can deliver the best outcomes for Tesco customers.
- Leading a team of Supplier Managers, providing strategic direction and guidance on delivering complex projects.
- Developing new ways of working across Insurance and Money Services and ensuring a consistent governance and assurance framework and set of policies operate across the business.
- Ensuring accountability through a period of significant change.

**We need you to have
- Proven experience in managing and leading the Outsourcing and Supply Chain function for Insurance.
- Ability to lead change initiatives and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
- Proven track record in building relationships with stakeholders of all levels and the ability to influence and engage at Senior Management level.
- Ability to lead and execute complex negotiations, often by rethinking and approaching challenges from a different perspective.
- Strong commercial acumen and a track record of managing a portfolio of contracts and negotiating service level agreements.
- Experience in managing and delivering projects using appropriate toolsets, ensuring required governance is followed and that budgets and KPIs are both appropriate and met.
- Confidence to challenge and make sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.
