Healthcare Assistant - Level 3 (Health and Social Care) Dialysis Assistant

We are seeking a helpful, tactful and meticulousindividual whom will be able to follow rigorous procedures to join our clinicas a Dialysis Assistant in Scarborough.

Main duties of the job

What does the role involve?

As a Dialysis Assistant you will be working under thesupervision of a Registered Nurse and as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Youwill:

* Look afterindividual patients, preparing dialysis equipment for treatment, monitoringvital signs and assessing, cleaning and redressing catheter sites asrequired.

* Liaise withpatients, their relatives and other visitors to the clinic.

* Ensure thatequipment is kept clean and supplies are well-stocked, safely stored and usedefficiently.

* Keepdocumentation up-to-date.

* Administermedication when required.

This is a full time role of hours a week.Current days are working various shifts between to Monday/Wednesday/Friday and to Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday.
