Our Graphic Designers create consistently high-quality visuals to meet both customers' and in-house requirements.
It's a busy department, dealing daily with our Learning Production, Marketing and Project Management team, so expect a varied workload, predominately consisting of designing our digital learning.
This role will require you to work in our office in Southwick, near Brighton 3 days per week.
Responsibilities and dutiesWork with learning designers, product leads and marketing managers to:
- Create visually-compelling graphics and layout for use across our products, services and marketing channels.
- Evolve our digital learning to champion simplicity, consistency and accessibility
- Storyboard and animate short videos, that convey specific messages in a simple and delightful way
- Create high-quality collateral for the marketing team to use across social media and in-person events
- Upskill in course development
Work with learning designers and other graphic designers to create (using company approved software):
- Digital learning
- Workbooks
- Animated videos
- Marketing collateral
Be able to troubleshoot, maintain and fix pre-existing courses
Meet requirements whilst making sure your work fits within budgets and deadlines set by project managers
Help with both customer and in-house projects
Quality assure materials created by other members of the team
Participate in team meetings and customer calls to help gather requirements
Help develop the Me Learning brand alongside the rest of the design team
Give accurate work time estimates and log time methodically
Push our marketing efforts to the next level through innovative ideas
Requirements
- A portfolio showcasing recent designs and projects you have worked on
- A working knowledge of the Adobe CC suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro) and Microsoft 365
- Any experience using authoring tools (Adapt, Evolve, Storyline, Rise etc.) or web design tools
- Experience in creating short animated videos
- An awareness of HTML and CSS
- High attention to detail to ensure our work is delivered at the highest possible quality
- Actively seeks opportunities to continuously learn and evolve own skillset
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Comfortable working to deadlines
- Flexible and able to adapt to a variety of brands and styles
- Comfortable giving feedback to other team members
- The ability to attend, advise and lead on customer consultations or workshops
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- The ability to work as a team player
- A professional approach and manner
