Join us at Karo Healthcare on our exciting journey. We're currently looking for a Category Development and Global Perfect Store Lead for our office in Maidenhead.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Build strong, productive relationships with key customer contacts and internal stakeholders and be the senior contact for key retailers
  • Using insights create strategic partnership projects aimed at strengthening the key focus categories
  • Identify relevant long term Category Growth Drivers, with quantifiable sales impact and show how instore/online tactics will deliver growth
  • Lead the team of 2 FTEs to deliver category management and manage range reviews with focus customers
  • Drive Karo distribution, quantity and quality of shelf placement across all customers through team
  • Drive a culture that remains unbiased and objective, but with commercial awareness and clear communication of decisions
  • Ensure full compliance with legal, regulatory and other standards as directed by Karo
  • Build a clear Perfect Store approach for Karo defining the key levers for Omni, B&M and Online environments
  • Design tools that are simple and easy to embed in the focus markets of UK, Norway and Sweden to drive excellence
  • Support the country managers to build the right Category Development approach in their markets
  • Partner with CCO and UK CM to define long term strategic focus for Category, expanding  approach out based on need and opportunity

Requirements

  • Degree educated
  • At least 5 years of experience in health and beauty or FMCG
  • Experience and evidence of application of core category management skills as a manager and preferably as leading a team
  • Strong understanding of category analysis and key category drivers
  • Experience of Nielsen, Space Planning, IRI, Kantar, or similar
  • Experience of building category visions and perfect store execution
  • Multichannel experience, i.e. Pharmacy/High Street and Grocery is preferred
  • Multiple market experience and/or success at influencing teams with limited ‘power’ or direct line responsibility is a plus
