The Division of Surgery within the Integrated Specialist Care Services (ISCS) Portfolio, is looking to appoint a Lead Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to provide clinical leadership and management for the Advanced Practice teams working in the Cardiothoracic Service. The Advanced Practice teams include the ANP team and the Surgical Support Practitioner (SSP) team. These teams provide assessment, care and treatment for patients in our inpatient ward, Surgical High Dependency Unit and Cardiac ICU.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced ANP to step into a Leadership role whilst maintaining a Clinical remit. The successful candidate will have extensive experience as a RN and ANP. Experience in the speciality of cardiothoracic surgery is desirable.
The Lead ANP will work clinically on the ANP rota across the Cardiothoracic service and will provide clinical and professional nursing leadership to ensure robust training, capability and education strategies are in place to support a skilled ANP and SSP workforce. As a Senior Nurse in the Surgery Division of the ISCS Portfolio, the Lead ANP will have a professional line of responsibility to all ANPs in the Portfolio.
