We have a great opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join our Finance and Contracts Team at E-Resourcing on a part time basis (2-3 days per week).
As the Accounts Assistant, you would work alongside the Senior Accounts Assistant and Finance Director to process routine accounting transactions for both our UK and Belgian companies.
Key Responsibilities include:
Maintenance of multiple cashbooks (GBP and EUR), including posting all transactions, allocating client receipts and supplier payments to relevant invoices and allocating nominal payments to correct expense category. Coding and posting of all overhead invoices; scheduling invoices for payment; setting up payments, sending remittance advices and ensuring integrity of purchase ledger. Coding and posting staff and directors' expense claims and credit card statements and raising payments for expenses. Dealing promptly with queries from suppliers, contractors, staff and management. Preparing reports and sample data for quarterly audits by invoice discounting supplier and annual audits by external accountants and dealing with audit queries.Experience Required:
Knowledge and experience in processing of purchase and sales ledger and cashbooks, Solid experience of Sage 50 Intermediate level of competency in Excel Ability to work independently but also be an excellent team player Excellent interpersonal skills are important Must have strong organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlinesIf this role sounds of interest and you think your skills match the requirements, please send me your CV and I will call you to discuss in more detail.
