Weare looking for multiskilled Software Engineers who are quick topick up new skills and have a knack for making things work. Theideal candidates have industrial software experience in anautomation setting backed up with robust understanding ofengineering concepts from a STEMdegree.

Ourproducts are varied in scope and field. From simple machinesprocessing a dedicated task to complex customisable cells with manyrobots production steps and integrated technologies ranging fromcameras lasers waterjet cutters and even chainsaws. Our bespokemachinery can be very complex however it s vital that it remainseasy to use andoperate.

Asour new Software Engineer you will be responsible for developingsoftware using a diversecodebase:

  • Backendsoftware in C# .NET collecting & processing data fromsources such as: 2D/3D vision systems; mathematical modelling& simulation; hardware & softwareintegration.

  • Humanmachine interfaces (HMI) based on the Blazor framework (C# HTML& CSS) WPF or more traditional platforms such as SiemensWinCC.

  • Machinecontrols on industrial PLCs programmed using IEC 611313 languages.Utilising advanced functionality to achieve precise motion controland integrating with the latest fieldbus networks for realtime datatransfer.

  • Advancedmotion control using realtime C to synchronise hundreds ofaxes.

  • Industrialrobots and our own inhouse devices each require indepth knowledgefor commissioning and programming using proprietary languages (KRLTP KARELGCode).

Thisis a role where no two days or projects are the same. Thesuccessful applicant will have a passion for robotics andautomation be curious & inquisitive and a natural problemsolver. They will work on their own initiative to learn newtechnologies and have an eye for detail anddesign.

Essentialskills andexperience

  • 2years industrial programming experience (C#preferable)

  • STEMdegree with a solid understanding of engineeringconcepts

  • Passionfor learning new skills and solvingproblems

  • Abilityto communicate at a technical level in both written and verbalEnglish

  • Ableto work on own initiative andautonomously

  • Willingand able to travel


Desirableskills andexperience

  • C#experience (.NETASP.NET)

  • Webdesign experience (HTML CSSJavaScript)

  • Experiencein engineeringenvironments

  • PLCprogramming(IEC611313)
