Job Introduction

As a Patient Dining Supervisor  at Sodexo in Hereford County Hospital ​, you will be responsible for overseeing all service aspects of our catering operations and will need to be an excellent leader who can motivate a team in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. You will require excellent communication and organisational skills as well as strong attention to detail. What you’ll do:

  • Manage staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
  • Coordinate with planners to ensure all catering needs are met
  • Set-up and breakdown events, ensuring equipment and supplies are accounted for
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve and issues raised
  • You will ensure that Health and Safety regulations (such as Food safety, Allergen awareness, COSHH and HACCP regulations) are always adhered to.

 What you bring:

  • Previous experience in a supervisor position
  • Highly professional manner and understanding that honesty and ethics are essential 
  • Cheerful outlook and ability to communicate with co-workers and other departments with professionalism and respect  
  • Computer literacy / Administration skills
  • A willingness to learn
