Overview

We have an opportunity available for a Part Time Support Worker to join our Supported Living Service, James House based in Northwich, Cheshire CW9 7DE.

Salary: £12.00 per hour.

There is a 16 hour contract available working 2 days a week. Shifts from 7:30am - 3pm and 2:30pm - 10pm which will include some weekend work. We also can offer bank contracts. 

The service consists of 14 flats which are home to adults with various mental health and learning disability conditions. Please for further details about the service.

Responsibilities

As a Support Worker in Supported Living you'll be supporting adults on a person-centered basis to live independently, helping them move towards independent accommodation.

From medication and personal care assistance to accessing the community and domestic tasks, your days will be varied, and no two days will be the same. That's why we're looking for someone who can think on their feet and truly understand our clients' needs with a big smile that lights up our service users' faces.

We're not too concerned about qualifications for this role; we're more interested in your values and how you build relationships with our service users and fellow colleagues. Qualifications

It’s important to note that you do not need prior industry experience or any specific qualifications to be considered for this role. On joining Making Space you will be supported step by step with on-the-job training as well as the opportunity to undertake professional qualifications if desired and required for your role.
