As Oxfordshire's leading supply teaching agency, Class Act Teaching Services are currently working with a Primary School in a village south of Oxford who are looking for a Year 2/3 Class Teacher. The role is a part time position on Thursday and Friday and they are looking for a Year 2/3 Class Teacher starting after the October half term until at least the end of term with the potential to go beyond. 

This Primary School is set in a rural location and respects and values every student and staff member as individuals who can make a positive contribution. The school encourages every student to aim high and love learning. At their most recent inspection, the school continue to be rated ‘Good’ under the former Ofsted ratings for schools. 

Year 2/3 Class Teacher:

  • Strong knowledge of the Primary School curriculum
  • Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with accessible resources where needed
  • Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the classroom, and throughout the school
  • Ability to monitor, assess and report on the progress of your students
  • Able to plan and deliver engaging lesson that can be adapted to the needs of the class
  • Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement them effectively

Year 2/3 Class Teacher Requirements:

  • Hold Qualified Teaching Status
  • Recent mainstream school-based experience teaching in a Primary School
  • Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management
  • Experience working with SEND
