Year 2 Teacher Position

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 2 Teacher to join our vibrant and fun primary school in Oxford. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of our students.
About the Role:As a Year 2 Teacher, you will be responsible for the pastoral care of children taking their first steps in Key Stage 1, promoting teamwork, and cultivating a conducive learning environment. You will teach the Key Stage 1 curriculum to groups of children while focusing on each individual child's learning targets, encouraging their strengths, and improving their weaknesses.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback and support to ensure academic excellence.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Contribute to the development of a positive and respectful school culture.
Our primary school is a 3-form entry school located in a lovely residential area of Oxford. We pride ourselves on creating a friendly and welcoming environment that supports the growth and development of our students and staff. Requirements:- Relevant qualifications and experience in teaching.
- Ability to commute to Oxford via public transport.
- Confidence in leading a class and managing behavior in line with school policies.
