Content Creator

We are One YMCA, a registered charity and housing association delivering community. One YMCA has grown substantially over the last five years and currently has an annual turnover of over £20m, and development programme of circa £22m and 500 staff working in a range of services across three counties to support around 150,000 vulnerable individuals each year.

We are seeking a permanent Content Creator to join our Marketing and Comms team.

The Role:

• To be responsible for maintaining and updating the One YMCA website, including page content updates, creating new pages, keeping images, videos, and banners up-to-date. Adding new case studies, press releases, and news.
• Lead on delivering a website offering that places One YMCA at the forefront of the sector regionally and nationally through all elements, including; SEO, copy writing, design, content, function, ensuring it supports positive brand awareness and organisational growth.
• Working with #TeamMCF (Marketing, Communications, & Fundraising) to support a consistent and complimentary approach and message to comms across multiple channels (e.g. traditional, media and digital etc), ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and the organisational mission, vision and values at all times.
• Creating and editing high-quality videos for wide range use, including internal comms, all social media platforms and website, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Vimeo, YouTube.
• To be the point of contact with Service Managers to support with the set up service users case studies, including videos.
• Attend our internal and external events to take promotional content to be used on our channels.
• Support the wider team with social media post creation, scheduling, and engagement which includes website graphics and assets.
• Research best trends for marketing purposes in order to maintain a positive brand association and recognition on digital marketing channels.
• Working with colleagues in all divisional areas of the organisation to support their activities, promotions and campaigns to ensure the highest possible levels of awareness and message engagement are achieved in support of their goals and targets.
• Achieve and strive to exceed all objectives set by the role line manager, at all times working to support the organisations mission, vision and values, whilst adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.
