Repairs and Maintenance Supervisor

We are excited to recruit a Repairs and Maintenance Supervisor on a 9 month Fixed Term Contract who is ready to make a difference to our customers’ lives.

You will be part of our Repairs and Maintenance division and will play a key role in shaping our future.

What you'll be doing

You'll help Golding Homes to improve the repairs service by ensuring overdue repairs are co-ordinated and completed in a timely way, with clear communication to customers.

We are looking for someone who can work with customers to understand more complex jobs and ensure they are co-ordinated/subbed out correctly. Along with overseeing a mix of agency resource/subcontractors to reduce backlog WIP.

More about you. What can you bring?

You'll have a minimum of three years experience of supervising Trade Operatives to deliver service requirements along with an understanding of the Social Housing Market, Voids, and Repairs and Maintenance service delivery.

You'll have a comprehensive working knowledge of Schedules of Rates and an appreciation of all trades, with a good working knowledge and compliance with health and safety requirements.

We are looking for an excellent communicator demonstrating high degree of customer care with strong leadership and management including performance management.

Strong technical knowledge of reactive repairs solutions across carpentry, plumbing and wet trades.

When and where you'll be doing it

You will enjoy a 40 hour working week and earn an annual salary of circa £41,600 dependent upon your knowledge, skills and experience.

Golding Homes have properties throughout Maidstone and the surrounding area. This role will allow you to travel around our properties, meaning no two weeks will be the same
