You will collaborate effectively within ateam environment coordinating with audit and tax teams as well asexternal auditors to ensure timely completion of assignments whilemeeting clientexpectations.
Yourresponsibilities will encompass managing assignments with intricatetechnical accounting requirements for larger entities andoverseeing ad hoc projects of a complex nature. You will play apivotal role in enhancing the companys technical capabilities byassisting the wider team with technical queries therebycontributing to longterm growthobjectives.
KeyResponsibilities:
- Facilitateseamless communication with clients to gather essential informationand address queriespromptly.
- Preparefinancial statements for mediumsized companies consolidatedfinancial statements and LLPs using the firms designated softwareapplications with minimal reviewpoints.
- Createbusiness tax computations including adjustments for enhancedexpenditure and loans toparticipators.
- Supportjunior team members in completing assignments forming part of theconsolidated financialstatements.
- Adhereto predetermined timelines agreed upon by the audit teammaintaining regular communication to ensure internal and externaldeliverables aremet.
Requirements
- Priorexperience in a similar role within a practiceenvironment.
- Qualifiedas CA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent (firsttime passespreferred).
- Demonstratedability to work collaboratively within ateam.
- Proficiencyin MS Office applications Word ExcelOutlook.
- Soundtechnical knowledge of UK Financial ReportingStandards.
- Uptodateawareness of changes in basic taxlegislation.
- Proficientunderstanding of accounting standards and business taxcompliance.
- Passionfor learning new skills and assisting less experienced teammembers.
- Proactivecando attitude with keen attention todetail.
- Dedicationto continuous learning anddevelopment.
