The Role
 
We are searching for a Customer Insights and Data Specialist. This role forms part of the European Regional Amazon Structure. Reporting to the E-Commerce Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the organisation to make decisions based on customer and marketing related data. Using various analytical techniques to understand trends and make appropriate recommendations to the business in order to identify new opportunities and maximise sales.
 
Job responsibilities include; 
 
  • Present weekly reporting of Amazon KPIs for Retail, Marketing and operations.
  • Provide clear insights and recommendations to the Amazon Europe team to ensure the correct activities are put in place to drive sales and gain market share. This can range from supply chain metrics through to category and sku level performance.
  • Provide standardised reporting to the regional Amazon team, business teams and local country teams to drive efficiency and reduce time in report creation.
  • Be the Amazon team’s key point of contact for external data service providers, ensuring any issues are resolved in a timely manner. 
  • Creation and development of dashboards to present key data points that allow the business to monitor performance and take appropriate action. 
  • Focus on identifying areas that can drive sales and profitability improvement for Fellowes. 
  • Make strategic recommendations based on market trends.
  • Provide ad hoc support to other team members as and when required.

 
What You Bring to the Team
 
  • Previous e-commerce or marketplace (Amazon) experience would be an advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Keen interest in e-commerce and digital marketing.
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills.
  • Able to influence others.
  • Ability to analyse sales activity and data.
  • Understand financial budgets and targets, product pricing and margin.
  • Self-motivated with a proven ability to manage time and meet deadlines.
  • Presentation skills.
  • Able to work in a team and work independently when required.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft packages including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Adaptable to change.

 
Desirable but not essential
  • European language in addition to English.
  • Business school or university degree in Business Studies, Marketing, or related field.
  • Experience using Amazon’s Vendor Central and AMS portals.
  • Knowledge/experience of other online resellers in addition to Amazon.
