Rateof Pay: 24.58 32.19 per Hour

Responsibilities:

  • Providing advice advocacy and assistance totenants on their rights and responsibilities and landlords/lettingagents on their rights andobligations.
  • Developing opportunities acrossthe council to engage with tenants and landlords with the aim ofimproving the management of privately rented homes in theborough.
  • Organising meetings groups and otherplatforms with internal and external stakeholders involved inprivate rented housing to promote good practise in rentedaccommodation. Including establishing and promoting our LandlordsForum.
  • Leading on consultation & researchto identify & assess the views & priorities of stakeholderswith the aim of developing strategies for landlord and tenantengagement.
  • Playing a proactive role in thedevelopment of policies and procedures that impact on privatesector tenants and landlords.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or level 6 qualification in a relevantfield or extensive practical experience landlord and tenantengagement activities
  • Experience of working intenancy relations role including investigating harassment andillegal evictions
  • Experience of working inpartnership with other teams andorganisations

  • You should beavailable to work immediately or at a shortnotice.
  • You should have right to work inU.K
  • This role requires a basicDBS
