What you’ll be doing

as a Process Operator Support inflight reactive and planned activities while keeping Key Stakeholders informed at all times. Manage all reactive work by carrying out risk assessments; liaising with teams, and escalating when required. Ensuring asset standard compliance is adhered to at all times. Support planned activities ensuring that all enabling is completed promptly, resulting in reduced planned activities. Monitoring daily alarms to identify potential plant issues. Interrogate, analyse and interpret available data to make informed decisions and escalate accordingly. Follow and comply with company Health & Safety procedures, and auditing practices, and maintain records. Act as technical support for isolation; sharing information regarding process risks and other Health & Safety issues. While monitoring all alarms to ensure appropriate timely action is taken.

What should you bring to the role?

A minimum of GCSE level Maths and English or equivalent. Completion of NVQ level 2 units or equivalent experience. Technical C&G or HNC desirable. Boiler Operation and turbine/generator experience. Must be prepared to be trained in safety procedures including Confined Space Entry. Experience in a relevant industry and with experience in helping to manage or control the appropriate processes. Technical expertise and responsibility may require additional qualifications. Good practical experience in the specialist process gained in a related role. Valid driving licence. Fully competent at using the appropriate Company IT systems and Office software. Previous experience with SCADA systems would be an advantage.

Competitive salary between £30,000 and £40,000 per annum depending on skills and experience. Annual Leave - 24 days holiday per year increasing to 28 with the length of service.
