Main duties of the job

What you'll be responsible for:

Assessing the needs of women, partners, families, and carers Plan, deliver and evaluate standards of evidence-based midwifery care. Providing full antenatal care, including parenting classes, clinical examinations, and screening Identifying high-risk pregnancies The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.

Location : -Margate, Ashford or Canterbury

Pay Rate : £23-£35

Shift Patterns : - Flexible

As one of the largest acute Trusts in the country, East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust (EKHUFT) has five hospital sites and numerous community clinics, providing teaching and training to doctors, nurses and healthcare professionals. The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above

What youll need:

A minimum of 12 months paid experience as a Midwife within the last 2 years Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices

*Depending on the Trust, you may require variable additional certification and skills
