About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Midwife to join our team at NHS Professionals Limited. As a midwife, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, evidence-based care to expectant mothers and their families throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and the postnatal period.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess the needs of women, partners, families, and carers, and develop personalized care plans to meet their unique needs.
  • Provide full antenatal care, including parenting classes, clinical examinations, and screening, to ensure the best possible outcomes for mothers and babies.
  • Identify high-risk pregnancies and work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support to women and their families.

Person Specification

We are looking for a Registered Midwife with a minimum of 12 months paid experience in the last 2 years, who is committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based care to women and their families. You will need to be registered with the NMC and have a degree or diploma in nursing. You will also need to have a copy of your Neonatal Rhesus and CTG training certificates.
