About the role 

The course start date is Monday 3rd February 2025. 

Kingswood values establishing a work-life balance; the course exposes you to the world of work and leaves plenty of opportunities to enjoy your social downtime.  

You will be given some study time, including training sessions alongside your daily activities with an 80% practical learning and 20% theory mix. The study and training sessions will be covered in your contracted paid hours. There are many activities running daily with endless training to boost your confidence. Being an apprentice is about being pulled out of your comfort zone. You will be working with high adrenaline activities, public speaking and group leading

 About you 

  • Hold at least a Level 1 Functional Skills in both Maths and English/or a minimum of a grade D/3 in both Maths and English 
  • An interest in working outdoors and with children 
  • Friendly, outgoing and a team player 
  • Some experience within the outdoor sector 

What's next? 

We have a 5-stage recruitment process.  

Stage 1: After completing a short application with us, you'll receive an email asking you to complete some screening questions. These are our initial checks with the recruitment team.  

Stage 2: After completing your screening questions and having been successfully screened by a member of the recruitment team, you will need to complete a short form for our training provider, so they can complete their checks and ensure you are eligible.  

Stage 3: Visit Kingswood Centre and complete an assessment day with us This is a fun day, jam-packed with activities for you to experience. Giving you a taste of what to expect.  

Stage 4: Attend a Teams meeting with one of the training specialists, to sign you on officially to our apprenticeship program.  

Stage 5: Receive your official offer and start the onboarding process with our HR team.
