**Programmer - Excursion Coordinator Lead**

**Position Overview**:
As a Programmer/Staffer -Excursion Coordinator Lead you will play a crucial role in organizing and facilitating international programming activities while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Excursion requirements for various groups. You will also assist in communication with international groups and provide support in sales activities by ensuring compliance with product regulations. This position requires a strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a passion for outdoor education and international collaboration.

**Responsibilities**:
**1. International Programming**:
Design programmes tailored for international groups that have a heavy focus on off-centre excursions.

With the support of the Activity Manager lead on communicating the details of the programmes to the team members responsible for leading and guiding the groups with off-centre excursions.
Plan and execute logistics for international groups, including activity scheduling, Excursion preparation, transportation, and safety protocols.

Work in conjunction with the Activity Manager, Group Activity Manager and Head of Learning & Development to ensure appropriate teams are trained to manage groups off-centre.

**3. Communication with International Groups**:
Act as an Assistant point of contact with Guest services for international groups, addressing inquiries, providing necessary information, and ensuring a smooth pre-arrival experience.
Collaborate with international partners to understand specific group requirements, cultural considerations, and preferences, tailoring programs accordingly.
Ensure effective communication channels are established and maintained to address any concerns or issues that arise during the program.

**4. Sales Support**:
Assist the sales team in understanding the compatibility of products with international regulations and restrictions.
Work collaboratively with the sales team to develop guidance on the off-site excursions most suited to the groups requirements based on legal, cultural, and ethical considerations.

**5. Compliance and Documentation**:
Responsible for staying informed about international regulations and guidelines pertaining to outdoor education, equipment safety, and sales.
Ensure accurate and organized documentation of Excursions, program details and communication with international partners.
Adhere to safety protocols, risk management practices, and legal requirements related to outdoor programming and sales.
In conjunction with the Group Activity Manager, create a Standard Operating Procedures for all teams to use when leading and guiding groups in off-centre excursions.
