About you
You will be an accomplished leader with substantial experience of working with homeless or other challenged cohorts of people. You will be a champion of individual rights and responsibilities and understand client presentation and recovery potential through a trauma-informed lens. You will be a strategic thinker with the ability to develop new policy and process into client-centred practice.
Aboutthe role
Fixed Term Contract: 12 month minimum with option to extend subject to ongoing funding
You will provide leadership and individual supervision for a team of professionals working in a multi-agency setting delivering joined up care and support for individual customers through consistent development of relational practice. Working with partners and key stakeholders you will develop progressive change and continuous service improvement at local operational and system levels.
About the team
The Navigator team is a multi-disciplinary service covering Housing, Substance use, Mental health and Social Care working in a co-located multi-agency setting in Exeter Colab. The team is currently 8 FTE staff and includes specific functions including support to a 5-bed Navigator house and a role working with individuals due for release from SW prisons. The team works as a high support wraparound harm reduction service to help individuals reduce disadvantageous behaviours, develop more strength-based life skills and develop trusting relationships with stable housing away from street homelessness and into recovery.
