We are looking for a Clinical Systems Manager to join our Clinical Team in Swadlincote.

Main Responsibilities

  • System Management, to develop, maintain and support clinical systems to ensure they meet the needs of healthcare providers and patients
  • Work closely in collaboration with the digital team, senior management and clinical leadership to align system development with strategic goals.
  • Coordinate the implementation of new systems and upgrades, ensuring they are delivered on time and withing budget
  • Develop and maintain relationships with system supplies to ensure that all developments are in line with local and national strategies.
  • Lead a team of analysts to investigate and resolve clinical system incidents and problems.
  • Provide training and support to employees on the use of clinical systems, ensuring efficient and effective use.
  • Actively managing the new business implementation process to operational and financial effectiveness and subsequent monitoring and working with all functions across the business to ensure successful delivery of new programs.
  • Contributing to current business processes and in conjunction with Operations Team meet agreed client targets for implemented Nursing Programs and to improve quality and efficiency within the new business implementation process.
  • To manage client relationships effectively, controlling scope and expectations within new and existing programs and ensuring satisfaction with HealthNet services.
  • Support the adaptation of existing data reporting systems and digital platforms to ensure that relevant outcome data that meets clients' Market Access needs are being captured and the associated insight being generated.
  • Support the maximisation of any generated insight from implemented programs in demonstrating HealthNet capability to potential clients.
  • Analyse outcome data from active and completed programs and aligning the deliverables (KPIs) to the programs' actual outcome with the aid of the Clinical Business Manager and Clinical Operations Manager.
  • Supporting the generation of insight from active and implemented programs for use in demonstrating HealthNet capabilities to potential Pharmaceutical clients.
  • Supporting management of the programs' budget and appropriate invoicing for active and completed programs.

  • Maintain and grow own knowledge of the homecare market and attend development and training courses as required.
  • Engage in personal professional development and attend mandatory training.
  • To carry out any reasonable request given by appropriate persons.

What experience and skills are we looking for?

Essential

  • Proven client-facing and commercial stakeholder management skills, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry space.
  • Essential to have a highly developed knowledge, understanding and experience of product development and commercial adoption in the pharmaceutical market.
  • Experience with Homecare desirable but training to be provided.
  • Organised, with a bias for taking initiative and maintaining high personal standards including good project planning and management skills.
  • Previous experience in a project/program management role, is an advantage. Good time management skills, and the ability to manage multiple work-streams and lines of communication simultaneously.

Qualifications?

  • Bachelor's degree in a computer science related field or significant experience in clinical systems management.
  • Project management qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in clinical IT solutions, including system evaluation, design, testing and configurations.

  • Well-honed written and verbal (including presentation) communication skills with a flexible approach
  • Self-motivated, dedicated with a committed approach showing interest in understanding the business and industry
  • To be proactive and motivated responding positively to new challenges
  • Computing skills, including an excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint in particular)
  • Good decision-making skills and ability to communicate those decisions and articulate other complex information and data to senior personnel internally and externally.
