Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your testing expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to David Cox (Head of Software TCMS and Train Control Manager, Derby), and work alongsideother members of the Services Central Engineering team. The role will be to manage all aspects of TCMS testing of software.
We’ll look to you for:
Collecting the inputs for Test means configurations and analyse their quality Test means applicable configuration definition Train LV schematics Train equipment models Traction system model TCMS software and associated deliverables (ICD) Generate the configurations for the Test means Contribute to continuous improvement of tools: LV modeling, equipment modeling, configuration tools Support test execution Compile & sustain the standard documentation for configuration generation Support deployment and animation of Test means performance KPIAll about you

Mandatory:
Recognised electrical apprenticeship level 3 or above. Previous experience working within a test laboratory environment. Understanding of Electrical Codes & Regulations Experience of conducting electrical testing and inspections Experience of installing, repairing and maintaining industrial (electrical) equipmentDesirable:
Experience of Aventra platform. Experience with Test Rack construction Experience of LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out) procedure Multi-skilled with electrical bias Knowledge & Experience of Digital Communications Competencies & Skills :
