About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Test and Validation Engineer to join our team at Alstom. As a key member of our Services Central Engineering team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of TCMS testing of software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Defining the most appropriate test methodology, testing means, and developing the test operating mode in accordance with the costs, time, and pass-fail criterion set for the test.
  • Executing tests and providing reports.
  • Participating in the design and development of the tools necessary for performing the tests.
  • Implementing, verifying (functional), and ensuring compliance (calibration) of the measuring equipment to be ready at the time of the test.
  • Preparing the equipment for testing, validating that the applied configuration and prerequisite testing allows the testing to proceed.
  • Respecting EHS rules, notably implementing LockOut TagOut instruction.
  • Supervising and/or executing test activities, analysing test results "live" and deciding if test must be redone or not.
  • Test results data analysis, writing static and dynamic test reports.
Requirements
  • Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience working within a system engineering process environment.
  • Testing and fault diagnosis experience on Rolling Stock systems, including TCMS, CCTV, and PIS.
  • Previous experience working on Aventra platform.
