We are one of the UK's largest and most trusted engineering companies, providing products and services to Aerospace, Defence, Nuclear, Energy and Oil & Gas sectors.
Hyde Coatings Ltd s is currently recruiting a Business support Apprentice based at our bespoke facility in Stalybridge. As a Business Support Apprentice, you will be an integral part of the team ensuring processes run smoothly from initial customer enquiry through to final delivery.
About the Opportunity

A key part of the role is to engage in proactive communication with key customers to provide updates on their specific project throughout its lifecycle. This will entail liaising with the different departments within the business (engineering, operations, stores etc.) as necessary to ensure accurate information is always available.
You will often be involved with customers or suppliers, either by telephone or face to face, and so a friendly approachable demeanour is a must.
Main Duties
Supporting key customers.
Regular orderbook updates.
Proactive communication.
Handle queries and escalations.
Processing new quotation enquiries.
Running and updating internal key performance indicators.
Raising purchase orders and processing invoices.
Full Training will be provided for the above duties.
In addition to the above tasks there will also be a requirement to support the project management and production team inputting SAP data, updating spreadsheets ETC.
Essential Requirements
Awareness of IT systems.
Genuine interest in working in an office/production environment.
Excellent attention to detail.
Positive, friendly and Customer focussed attitude.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work closely as a part of a team and individually as necessary.
Great attitude towards learning and developing.
Qualifications
English and Maths grade 5-9/A-C predicted or actual and 3 other GCSE's at 5-9/A-C (essential)
In this Apprenticeship, you will be working towards a recognised qualification with opportunities for further development within a Project and Production environment.
