What you’ll be doing
Product Strategy & Roadmap:
• Develop and maintain a clear product vision and roadmap for specific Network OSS transformation that meets the need of stakeholders designing, planning, integrating, maintaining and operating connectivity platforms the Optical Transmission and broadband platforms.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and business stakeholders, to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.
Product Development:
• Oversee the end-to-end delivery of Network OSS transformation and delivery projects from planning, design to implementation & testing as well as embedding technology solutions within stakeholder processes through effective user adoption.
• Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle including requirement gathering, specification writing and prioritisation.
• Ensure that products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and scalability.
• Drive data-driven decision-making across the product lifecycle, from initial research to post-launch analysis.
Technical Expertise:
• Provide technical guidance on OSS and Optical Transmission technologies, ensuring that solutions are scalable, reliable, and future-proof.
Performance Monitoring:
• Monitor product performance and stakeholder feedback post-launch, and iterate on the product to improve its effectiveness.
• Collaborate with teams to create KPI dashboards, reports, and insights that help monitor product performance and inform decision-making.
Risk Management:
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with network transformation projects, ensuring minimal disruption to existing services.
Market Analysis:
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in Network OSS and Optical Transmission technologies to inform product development.
Collaboration & Communication:
• Act as the primary point of contact for all Network OSS Connectivity platforms product initiatives, ensuring alignment with internal and external stakeholders.
• Present product vision, strategy, and updates to executive leadership and other stakeholders.
Qualifications and skills
Qualifications and skills
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as product owner, with at least 3 years focused on Network OSS transformation and delivery for Optical Transmission.
• Good knowledge of Optical transmission network platforms and technologies powered by Ciena, Nokia and Huawei. In depth knowledge of network topologies, inventory and processes is a must.
• Strong understanding of Network OSS, eTOM model, transformation processes, and related standards.
• Proven track record of managing complex network transformation projects.
• Working knowledge of data driven approaches to broadband platform compaction will be advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
