About Us:
We are currently recruiting for one of our client primary schools who are committed to fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for their students. Their dedicated staff work collaboratively to ensure that each child reaches their full potential as they prepare for the next stages of their education. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic team, particularly focused on our Key Stage 2 classes.
Role Overview:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting pupils as they transition towards the end of primary education and prepare for secondary school. You will work closely with teachers to deliver targeted interventions aimed at enhancing student learning, strengthening their skills, and boosting their confidence. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Supporting small groups of students during intervention sessions
- Assisting teachers in planning and implementing engaging learning activities
- Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teachers
- Fostering a positive and supportive learning environment
- Collaborating with educational staff and parents to promote student development
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children in a school setting, preferably in Key Stage 2
- A passion for education and a commitment to helping students achieve their best
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Knowledge of intervention strategies and techniques is advantageous
