• To lead organic account growth for set accounts, driving upsell and contributing to the overall business target;

• To provide a key leadership role for your team and the teams working on your accounts.

What The Job Covers

• Senior client relationships for assigned projects;

• Account strategy and account-wide quality control;

• Account growth and profitability within business targets;

• Internal project reporting and communications

Reporting and Communication Structure

• The Senior Account Director reports into the Business Director.

• Deliverables and reviews of work should be done alongside the BD if relevant for the project.

• Overall account issues or concerns should be escalated to the BD, who then in turn reports into the MD.

• The Senior AD delegates relevant tasks, provides leadership and quality control against deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Be the holder of all beauty knowledge: Keep abreast of the Beauty Industry including trends, competitors and services, making continuous improvements to our offering to develop the brand of Beauty by Greenpark globally.

• Maintain and grow relationships with clients, being the main point of contact for all senior-level clients.

• Understand your client on a personal level, identify their individual objectives and challenges within their business and offer solutions on behalf of GP.

• Lead the response to brief and drive the best way to deliver the work to the highest quality.

• Implement local and global focused strategies to improve performance and ROI of assigned projects/platforms.

• Present and communicate strategies – drawn up by our Head of Department, and co-ordinate internal and external teams to ensure work is delivered against those strategies.

• Work with local team and client contacts in global markets for assigned accounts to ensure client satisfaction globally.

• Lead the expansion of assigned accounts and drive upsell projects. Apply this at a global level, working with the other GP offices to do so.

• Work with the Sales Leads to implement a growth strategy and to deliver on the goals that you set together.

• Provide a leadership role for the relevant GP delivery team. Oversee team briefing, co-ordination and quality control.

• Fully understand the brands that you work with, the industry that they sit within and their core competitor sets. Lead the co-ordination of proactive ideas or work upsell as a result of this knowledge.

• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of, and keep your team updated with, any relevant industry developments that you find, whether related to our business or our clients.

Business Development and Commercial Performance

• The Client Services team is responsible for contributing to sales targets by organically growing our existing client base. The Senior Account Director should work closely with the Sales Leads to do this.

• Individual client and project targets are set as part of the wider team and business targets. The Senior Account Director should lead the generation of ideas that could help the business upsell, develop work or move into new areas of work in order to meet these targets.

• The Senior Account Director should ensure client satisfaction and maintain a high quality of work, thus positioning GP as a key long-term partner.

Financial

• Oversee the financial performance of assigned projects.

• Liaise with the project management and operations teams on expenditures and spending against client budget, escalating to BD as required;

• Report to the BD and finance team as required on the financial health of a project or account, and leading conversations with client relating to any additional or unexpected expenditures;

• Stay up to date on the finance team’s internal project tracking process and adhere to this, with relevant updates provided as needed;

• Track project revenue recognition by keeping the 4MF up to date and accurate on a weekly basis, reporting back to the BD, MD and Operators Director. Support the team in the management of workload to help us hit our 4MF targets, wherever possible;

• Drive project efficiencies, ensure work is profitable, and contribute to forecasting.
