Job Title: Administrative Apprentice

Location: Swish Tamworth, Pioneer House, Lichfield Road, Tamworth, B79 7TF

Key Responsibilities:

Answer and deal, where possible with incoming phone callsControl traffic of visitors to site via the barrier phoneControl the paperwork and signing process for customer collections, representing the company professionally at all timesPrint and collate paperwork for carrier pick upsManage the printing process of new picking loads and enter accurately onto the daily pick update spreadsheetRegister and ship loads as they come in from the shop floor and perform basic checks to investigate nil itemsAccurate and efficient recording of key KPI information into warehouse trackers (Pick rates & Accuracy rates)Manage the reporting of MHE defects and chase overdue repairsAssist the stock supervisor, warehouse supervisor and operations manager in general administrative functions as appropriateAttend warehouse stock takes.Strive to continuously improve the operation sharing good practice and new initiatives with the wider warehouse management teamYou will be required to carry out any reasonable request asked of you, by your Supervisor.Highlight any Health & Safety issues to the Supervisor immediately. It is your responsibility to ensure you perform all your tasks in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the company Health & Safety rules and working practices, reviewing and improving processes which include risk assessments and safe systems of work processes.
