​​​​We are currently recruiting a talented and results driven Category Specialist to join our busy contact centre team. Working just Mon-Fri, with no weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

To drive profitable sales growth by managing inbound and outbound contacts with our customers to promote Fresh Direct products and services within specific categories Add value to every customer contact, by proactively identifying, negotiating, and converting share of wallet opportunities Work collaboratively with the Category Team to fully utilise our product range and supplier base to realise opportunities Maintain a detailed knowledge of key suppliers and competitor strategies and activities Have expert knowledge of category range, recent trends, product availability and proactively support to reduce stock at risk Capture accurate information on system and supporting tools (SAP, CRM) Maintaining knowledge of category and product range and developments

What we are looking for;

Outstanding phone-based selling skills (both cold calling and prospect development) with the ability to build rapport with ease Previous sales experience within foodservice or a real ‘foodie’ who can relate to customers’ needs An ability to pro-actively manage a broad pipeline of work Excellent literacy and communication skills – phone and email Results orientated, successfully delivering against targets in a competitive marketplace
