  • Teaching Levels: Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
  • Salary: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring dance and drama lessons across the age and attainment range at Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student creativity and confidence.
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing individualized support where necessary.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the performing arts curriculum and contribute to extracurricular activities, including school productions and performances.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ECTs (Early Career Teachers) qualifying this year are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Unqualified teachers with relevant experience and a strong commitment to pursuing a teaching career are also welcome.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for dance and drama education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and collaborative teaching.
  • Dedication to creating a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Successful completion of a Safer in Education check is mandatory.
