Main duties of the job
We are pleased to offer a development opportunity within the Professional Development Support team where your main focus will be delivering and evaluating a new enhanced preceptorship programme for Locala.
This opportunity has arisen following a successful bid to NHS England for RePAIR programme monies (Reducing Pre-registration Attrition and Improving Retention). Locala are using these monies to fund this WTE fixed term post/secondment to enhance the current preceptorship programme to enrich our support for preceptees and preceptors across the organisation.
The role will also offer the opportunity to work alongside our existing PDS Educators and support provision and delivery of clinical education and development activities for our clinical workforce (nurses, allied health professionals, visiting students and learners) across a range of practice settings.
The successful candidate will require strong effective communication and interpersonal skills, experience of leadership and a drive for innovation and improvement.
