The University of Nottingham is looking for a strong HR professional who can lead the people elements of major change projects. In line with the rest of the sector, Nottingham University is undertaking significant change in current practice, and is keen to make decisions now that will create the ambitious future that is right for our staff and students.

The Associate Director HRBP for change plays a pivotal role in overseeing the strategic and operational aspects of our HR service provision into our major programmes across UoN, ensuring that advice is in alignment with the university's broader goals. Working closely with the Deputy Director of HR, they help to shape HR policies relating to change, streamline processes, and drive improvements. They work collaboratively across departments, fostering relationships and advancing the university's mission. This role is integral to HR’s effectiveness and the overall student and staff experience, marking a significant contribution to the university's success.

You will work in partnership with colleagues across the HR team, will report into the Deputy Director of HR. You will have proven ability to deliver change management and people related change activity at a high level. You will have a record of leading and delivering cost-effective high-impact change projects / programmes, demonstrating achievements and impacts, that have added value to the organisation. You will be experienced at leading and supporting stakeholders of all levels.

This opportunity is offered to internal and external candidates at the University of Nottingham , on a full-time basis (36.25 hours per week). Flexible working arrangements may be considered.

Requests for secondment from internal candidates will be considered on the basis that prior agreement has been sought from both your current line manager (and the manager of your substantive post, if you are already undertaking a secondment role).
